Shade Disembodied is a fan-made antagonist in Abandoned: Discovery Island.
Appearance[]
Shade Disembodied is a distorted and eerie version of Disembodied. Shade Disembodied lacks a beak, and a pair of malformed teeth with green gums take its place. Shade Disembodied's eye sockets are smaller and rounder, and two large cat-like eyes protrude from them. Lastly, Shade Disembodied has a wooden skewer sticking into the bottom of its neck.
Mechanics[]
Just like the other Shades, Shade Disembodied only appears when the Office's power is turned off. Shade Disembodied can randomly appear in the back of the Office, making a sound very similar to the original Disembodied. The sound that Shade Disembodied makes irritates the other Shades and causes them to move quicker and more erratically. The player must hide underneath the desk to get rid of him.

- Shade Disembodied was originally made in December of 2018, but was revamped in 2023.
- Shade Disembodied originally had a much different appearance, and wasn't based on any Creepypastas.
